D:hive BUILD is now expanding, and showing off their talented entrepreneurs.

BUILD is an 8-week small business and project planning class that’s been hugely successful in Detroit. They are now expanding to host classes in Livernois this summer in partnership with the Livernois Community Storefront and launching their first BUILD Bazaar, an ongoing monthly pop-up marketplace.

Expect the marketplace to show off some awesome goods including Detroit made products such as clothing, artisan candles, handmade soap, and maybe even some delicious treats from past graduates like Treats By Angelique.

“The greatest untapped asset in the City of Detroit is people with ideas,” says April Boyle, Director of Small Business Initiatives at D:hive. “We aggregate aspiring entrepreneurs from all over the city and help them turn their idea into a reality by creating an open and supportive environment for learning.”

The program has over 350 graduates, and we hear nothing but good things. Learn more about D:hive BUILD online, and check out the details on the Bazaar Showcase below.  Upcoming summer Build Bazaar events include July 12th – 13th, and Livernois Community Storefront from August 21st – 24th.
