Why Blexting Is The Next Tech Term To Know

We’ve covered Loveland Technologies and their awesome initiative in Detroit before – Why Don’t We Own This, Detroit?

Now, they’ve embarked on a whole new chapter. This startup is really helping the city of Detroit in leaps and bounds by mapping blight.

The new term to know? Blexting = Blight + Texting. Surveys are out in neighborhoods covering as much ground as they can, using this startup’s awesome technology to collect data on the blight Detroit suffers from.

Congrats to a local startup helping solve social ills with technology. They’re currently working on expanding to other cities suffering from blight like New Orleans. We can’t wait to see what they come out with next, too.
