The Motor City Women Radio Network Launches MondayBy Yvelette Stines on July 9th, 2016 /
When Robin Kinnie was a child, she reminisces on the fond memory of her Great Aunt Lo’s kitchen table. “All of my aunts would gather for laughter and lessons. This was a sacred place where wisdom was shared,” she says. This memory and powerful place stuck with her. Kinnie wanted to recreate this experience and share it with other women. “As a wife, mom and career woman, I was always searching for tools, resources and information that help me in all aspects of my life. I wanted to create a place where women can bring their own perspectives, viewpoints, and experiences. That is how the Motor City Woman Radio Network was born,” she explains.
Last year Kinnie started her own show called The Motor City Woman Radio Show. “I loved it and the response was incredible. I interviewed local business women, shared resources for personal growth and created a space for an exchange of inspiration and information.” This was her way to connect women like herself to resources on living the life they deserve. With the success of her show, she knew it was time to increase her platform. The Motor City Woman Network was born.
This is the only station that is dedicated to inspiration, motivation, and information that helps women lead more fulfilling lives. ““My passion and purpose are aligned” says Robin. “My motto is that you can’t pour from an empty cup. In order to serve my family and my community, I first have to ensure that I am personally fulfilled. With the Motor City Woman Radio Network, we’re able to reach more women and make a greater impact. I feel blessed to be given this opportunity. I want everyone to live in the light.”
The launch of The Motor City Woman Radio Network is Monday, July 11th. Listeners can expect to hear compelling hosts with real-world experience. Kinnie wanted to seek out relatable and inspirational hosts. Some of the shows include.
