With this polar vortex weather, you may already be dreaming about summertime. If you’re imagining warm weather and the chance to launch your startup, this post is for you.

Detroit’s TechTown has now opened applications for their Summer DTX Launch program.

Launch Detroit is a 10-week summer accelerator for college students and recent graduates looking to launch a tech startup. Those who participate in the program can receive a stipend of up to $2,500 per individual, and up to $7,500 per team (a huge help for recent grads and young entrepreneurs).

The program applications are Due March 14th, with the Launch Detroit session beginning at the end of the May.

TechTown also announced this week the opening of their brand new co-working space called Junction440. Located in their historic Burroughs building, the space recently went through a $1.5 million renovation for it’s 20,000 square-foot space. Entrepreneurs and professionals will get to work alongside TechTown program participants.

Apply to their program today. Summer is hopefully just around the corner.
