Entrepreneurship is hard, but it’s a bit easier when you have a great mentor to help guide you along the way. Wayne State University is opening up their talented network of alumni to help local entrepreneurs.

On June 24th, Wayne State Front Door along with Detroit Venture Partners and the WSU Alumni group will host a networking session to help connect entrepreneurs and mentors. The event aims to help Detroit’s tech startup community by connecting them to people with resources and contacts to help accelerate their growth.

“The event will bring together Detroit’s start-up community with established business owners, venture and angel investors and resources.  There’s a lot of knowledge and expertise in the business community and we see it as an asset for our growing start-up scene,” said Emily Miller of the WSU Front Door. “We want to connect Detroit’s start-ups with business resources so we can take business to the next level.”

Technology businesses, venture and angel investors, interested mentors, business resources, and student talent will be on hand to network and connect to create synergy and take business to the next level.

This free event is for you if you have an interest in working with technology businesses, growing your connections and network, supporting growth with mentorship, and expanding your understanding of this growing Detroit startup community.
