New Health Tech Incubator Coming to Henry Ford

By Amanda Lewan on January 23rd, 2014 / Comments

Henry Ford Health System has recently received an award of $3 Million from the William Davidson Foundation to establish a new program for health entrepreneurs.

The program is aiming to foster innovation in the field of digital health, bringing together technical entrepreneurs, educators, corporate partnerships and more to develop companies focused on health care and information technology.

This could be really awesome with Metro Detroit’s vast amount of research universities and hospital systems, startups like Birdhouse for Autism, and funds in this area like Detroit Innovate. The center could help connect and grow this area of technology startups in Michigan.

Please pass along to any friends you know working on a digital health idea or startup. Read more about the new William Davidson Center for Entrepreneurs in Digital Health in Crain’s.
