Business growth continues in a big way for Naturalicious. The all-natural hair and beauty company has opened a manufacturing office in Detroit at Ponyride’s shared manufacturing space. With growth of any successful company there is need of employees.
Gwen Jimmere, The CEO and Founder of Naturalicious has hired four new employees to assemble their product line. She has intentionally created a way to support and create opportunities for all. Jimmere has collaborated with Services To Enhance Potential (STEP), an organization that helps mentally and physically challenged individuals find work. The four new members of the production crew will bottle, label, and prepare all products for shipment out of Ponyride.
This expansion comes at a great time for the company. “Detroit is going to be the number one city for new companies. There is so much idea generation, collaboration, and resources here for entrepreneurs. I want to be a part of Detroit, where entrepreneurs are working together. We’ll be expanding our product development, making all formulations on site at Ponyride later this year.” Jimmere said.
