Michigan sees 15 VC deals worth $28.6 million

According to Crain’s Detroit, Michigan saw an influx of capital investments in the third quarter of this year.

The story looks at a recent report provided by PricewaterhouseCoopers/National Venture Capital Association MoneyTree Report. This past quarter saw the best 3rd quarter of investments so far, a majority of which were located in Southeastern Michigan and focused on software companies.

“It’s an exciting time to be an entrepreneur with a software company,” said Mark McCaffrey, global technology partner and software leader at PricewaterhouseCooper U.S. “More venture capital dollars are going into more software deals than we’ve seen in the past decade.”
