Meet 32 Detroit Businesses Receiving NEIdeas Grants

The New Economy Initiative announced today the recent winner of their NEIdeas grant program, giving small businesses $10,000-$100,000. Each year the foundation grants existing business in the city of Detroit cash to help their business grow.

The small business who won grants this year range from retail to technology and transportation. Two larger businesses took home $100,000 grants, the Detroit Training Center and Louisiana Creole Gumbo.

  • Gourmet Food Center, Detroit.
  • Guadalajara #2 Mexican grocery and restaurant, Detroit.
  • Highland Park Tire Full Auto Services, Highland Park.
  • Hunt & Noyer custom furniture, Detroit.
  • JLH Heating & Air Conditioning, Detroit.
  • La Posada Mexican restaurant, Detroit.
  • Roby’s Shoes, Detroit.
