Storytelling Panel: Detroit’s Immigrant Entrepreneurs

April 5 @ 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM

Starters,

Join us at Bamboo Detroit for a discussion that needs to be had. We will hear stories from first-generation immigrants about how they have built their business in Detroit and lived out their American Dream. We will learn about the unique challenges of immigrants that American-born citizens take for granted.

We will brainstorm together what we can do to support our immigrant small business and entrepreneur communities, especially now when the future is far more uncertain than ever. More than anything, we are convening to shift the narrative, our narrative, for the future of our city.

Moderator: Steve Tobocman, Founder of Global Detroit

Panelists: Razi Jafri, Fellow at Documenting Detroit, Hassan Bazzi, Director at ACCESS Growth Center, Seydi Sarr, Founder of ABISA

Additional panelists will be announced soon. Check back with us!

There will be free food & drink for all. Let us know if you have any questions!

Best,

Ben Seidman
