Sometimes our lives are hectic and stressful, especially after a busy day of work. We work really hard at our professions, rarely taking time off for ourselves. But why work grueling hours, only to get sick and have to take time off anyway? How can you operate at full potential when you’re running on empty?

My Self Care is an interactive series focusing on introducing and practicing self-care techniques to be implemented into everyday life. We provide you with information and tools that can be incorporated into your life right away, to help you be at your best, even through the peaks and valleys of life and business. Our next session is Zentangle To Relaxation with Samm Wunderlich.

Zentangle® is an easy to learn process of drawing beautiful images through meditative, repetitive patterns. It’s relaxing and meditative properties are accessible to everyone, for no artistic skill or talent is needed. Zentangle as a practice is an accessible path to expressing creativity, enhancing focus and reducing stress for almost anyone, regardless of skill or artistic ability. Zentangle is enjoyed all over the world, across a wide range of skills, interests and ages, in education, art, therapeutic and personal settings. Join us on the 19th for a one-hour introduction to this relaxing art process. Bring your reading glasses (if you have them!) and get ready to put ink on paper. You can learn more about Zentangle® at zentangle.com.

Samm Wunderlich is a Certified Zentangle Teacher. She has taught hundreds of students, of all ability levels, and the Zentangle method never ceases to amazer her as students fall into relaxation, simply with a pen and paper. By day, Samm is a Certified Recreation Therapy Specialist, and Certified Bain Injury Specialist, and incorporates her trainings in Zentangle, as well as other therapeutic art processes, into daily work with her clients.
