My Self Care: Theta Healing Meditation

In our fast paced world, we often get so wrapped up in our responsibilities that we rarely take time for ourselves. It isn’t till our personal health suffers, that we realize that we need to make our health a priority. But why wait till your health is bad before you take it seriously? What if you could use preventative care methods to help maintain or even improve your health, before you have a dire need?
My Self Care is a wellness series that focuses on making your personal health a priority instead of a luxury. We teach practical self-care techniques that you can use at any time, to help you deal with the stress of daily life. Focusing on the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual areas, we aim to increase the whole health of a person, allowing you to be at your highest and best throughout your day. Our next speaker is Timothy Gay from The Infinite Transition.
Timothy has experienced over 20 years of suicidal depression. After going through many treatment options using both conventional and alternative health practices, Timothy was introduced to Theta Healing which helped him heal both the suicidal thoughts and emotions, and the depression itself. After that, he pursued Theta Healing full time.

Theta Healing is a practice using focused thought and meditation to repattern and reprogram the mind from unhealthy thoughts, feelings and emotions to positive and healthy ones. Using a series of focused visualizations, your brain enters into a theta brainwave state which allows for deep introspective healing. Theta Healing is often used to help people heal from trauma and various mental and emotionally challenging life experiences. In this session, we will learn how to use a basic Theta Healing meditation to help with releasing stress, anxiety, and keep you moving forward in your daily life.
