b. Introduction of Performance Coach and Trainer
c. Teach tool called Pause Part Punch, have participants introduce themselves
d. Introduce Dale Carnegie, discuss importance of soft skills before hard skills

2. Importance of Relationship building
a. Share stories of successful individuals using HR principles (Andrew Carnegie,
Abraham Lincoln, even Bill Clinton) Warren Buffet mentions diploma. Lee Iacocca
credits Dale Carnegie for giving him the courage to speak in public.
b. Teach Networking Stack
c. Up on their feet, Practice!

3. Dale Carnegie’s Human Relations Principles
a. Teach principles 1-9
b. Participant’s create a commitment to enhance a relationship in their life
c. Share commitment with a partner
d. If time, have them find a partner and read principles 10-21, circle one that is most
important. That you need to work on the most.
