Grown and Made Field Day at Plum Street Market Farm

Please join us for our second Farm Field Day featuring Callie Bradford of Go! Smoothie, Chef Phil Jones of Slow Food Detroit Central City & Natasha and Lisandra Fernandez-Silber of Bar Botanica.
Farm Field Day will take place from 10am – 11:30am on this coming Monday, September 11th at the Plum Street Market Garden, we will learning about the operations, doing a tasting tour of the farm with smoothie, small plates and craft cocktails from offerings from Plum Street. The Garden is located at 2202 Third Ave, directly across from the MGM Grand parking garage. Parking on-site is free, and no cost to participate, but please RSVP to Eitan@keepgrowingdetroit.org to help plan.

10:25-10:45 Food demo + tasting – We’ll start with Callie’s smoothies, people can take these with them during farm tour.
10:45-11:05 Farm Tour; walk around and show what’s in season and what to expect coming up.
11:05-11:20 Food demo #2 + tasting w/ Chef Phil
11:20-11:30 Wrap up: share September Availability list, ordering info, announcements, any last questions
