When listeria forced Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams to recall 265 tons of ice cream, the team remained true to their values and used the crisis as a opportunity to rebuild itself and make improvements. Falling back on the close relationships with regional and national dairy and produce growers as well as relying on a motivated, tightly knit staff, Jeni’s team emerged from the recall while staying true to the values of the Jeni’s Splendid brand.
