Entrepreneur Panel: The Grit & Spirit of the Detroitpreneur

February 23, 2016 @ 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM

Sponsored by Venture For America, this will be a unique opportunity to learn and interact with entrepreneurs at all stages of the game (public sector, early stage, serial entrepreneur, and those in the trenches). The conversation will revolve around the “gritty” and “unsexy” parts of entrepreneurship, not the glamour we see on TV or read on the internet. Behind closed doors, this often makes or break a venture. Make sure to bring some questions for our panelists!

Moderator: Amanda Lewan, Co-Founder of Bamboo Detroit

Panelist #1: Danny Ellis, C.E.O. & Founder of Skyspecs

Panelist #2: James Feagin, Entrepreneur

Panelist #3: Niles Heron, Founder of Michigan Funders

Panelist #4: Stella Sarafi, Director of Ponyride

6:00-6:20: Meet & Greet

6:20-6:40: 5 minute intro for each panelist
