By Marc Hudson on August 2nd, 2013 / Comments

Dave AndersonMeet Dave Anderson, a lifelong Detroiter, budding entrepreneur, and co-founder of Detroit’s newest co-working space, Bamboo Detroit. Not one to shy away from the limelight, Dave is ready to take Detroit’s story of resurgence as a technological hotbed to an international audience of more than 7,000 entrepreneurs, nerds, and tech lovers. Dave has applied to a give a talk entitled “Technology’s Role in the Revitalization of Detroit” at the 2013 Web Summit in Dublin, Ireland in October.

This is where you come in.  Fresh off a stinging defeat in the X Games competition, Dave is asking for Detroiters to do what they do best–bounce back and keep making things happen.  Dave needs your help as his entry in the “people’s choice” category, which is an active competition to select one speaker from anywhere in the world to join the conference’s A-list tech celebrity speakers.  There’s no better time and no better person to represent Detroit’s story, but we must act swiftly, as the voting ends today at 3PM.

Vote here for Dave and his talk “Technology’s Role in the Revitalization of Detroit” by using the “like” button.
